First time I visited had a great breakfast the staff were a tentative polite and the food came very hot and was well prepared. Definitely worth a visit.

We had the Mother?s Day afternoon tea yesterday and it was beyond amazing, can?t recommend Harts Coffee House & Deli, Thorpe Willoughby enough for any occasion, thank you ladies you made mine and courts day even more special xxx

We were told we couldn?t share a £12.75 meal! It wasn?t busy either. We left. This is all due to the owner?s bad attitude and her ?woe is me? rhetoric. The staff are lovely and have to put up with this woman. She will argue until she is blue in the face and whine about her ?high costs? and ?the current climate?.

A couple of weeks ago we were very upset to be told that the owner refused to serve us because we wanted to share a £12.75 meal. This is ridiculous because we would have been served if we'd each ordered a small plate at just over £6 each! It's so sad because we had previously enjoyed the small plates, cakes, and coffee and tea...and we live locally.

We had an afternoon tea to takeaway last Sunday & it was exceptional! The best in fact that we?ve ever had!
That amount we received & the quality of the food was amazing & Katy always goes above & beyond with her creative touches ensuring that you are pleased with what you are receiving.
We go most weeks & honestly have never had a bad meal!
Love the place & it?s the little gem of a cafe that was needed in the area!
And the staff are the icing on the cake! Love them all! ?

Had a belated Mother?s Day breakfast with my daughter. I had the breakfast flatbread and it was delicious Laura had the sausage sandwich and could barely fit it in her mouth so it was really big the coffee was excellent too and I am picky with coffee. Highly recommended

Amazing cakes!!!!
So this review is a little delayed apologies. I was planning a surprise party for my husbands 60th (Sept) but had guests with various allergies and had been turned away by multiple bakers who could not guarantee the cake would be allergen free. Deflated and chatting to a friend she told me about Harts Deli in Thorpe and said to try them. I spoke to them via messenger and they immediately were happy to help. I requested 2 large celebration cakes- a Victoria sponge and a chocolate caramel cake as those did not need to be refrigerated for ease on the party day. They were described as serving 12 slices (well these were huge and fed approx 60 people) I collected on party day with ease, they were well packaged for the drive and I was even helped to the car. I opened the cakes at the party and wow? absolutely stunning. By far exceeded expectations, they were so pretty and the taste- omg the best cakes we?ve had. They were fluffy and light and so delicious. All the guests were completely shocked that these cakes came from this little hidden deli and my friends have since ordered cakes! Hugely wowed as the cakes were amazing but the great communication and willingness to help me made them a great supplier and to say I highly recommend them doesn?t seem enough. Thank you so so much Harts!!! Sadly I didn?t get any pictures other than this one. (Note these two cakes cost less than the one I had planned from a local cake maker)

A rightly very popular place for a snack or light meal (also do take-outs). Being quite small it can feel crowded and you may have to wait for a table but the staff are pleasant and the food is worth the wait with portions not lacking (the club sandwich a meal in itself)

So lovely & friendly.
Nothing was too much go ask.
The food was delicious & the atmosphere is nice & relaxed.

We had a baby shower here this weekend and it was fabulous. The afternoon tea was lovely and lots of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for staff and they went above and beyond decorating and setting up games.
I have also been here for breakfast and lunch previously. The food has always been lovely and service brilliant. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!
