A wonderful quaint tea room and village shop. The owners are incredibly hospitable the shop offers quality produce - a great selection, the dining menu is rather extensive and delicious plus they do takeaway afternoon tea. We loved it and will return again.

We visited Hawnby Stores and Tearoom after they were recommended on Instagram. I love a good tearoom but I don?t often rate somewhere as 5 star, BUT this really was. Oli, who welcomed us and took our order was super friendly, kind and clearly loves what he does. We sat at a beautiful table outside (the location is idyllic) and had sandwiches first (made with local ingredients and freshly homemade bread? which was amazing) followed by coffee and brownies. I cannot fault this place and cannot recommend it enough. Go - you will not be disappointed. Superb. Thanks Oli, Dottie and everyone else at Hawnby Stores

A lovely place to stop off for a cake, Oli was so welcoming and very friendly. The brownie was divine! This place also has a small store including some wonderful sweets to offer. My sweets I purchased were super tasty (thanks Oli for the few extra!)

We took my dad for his birthday, lovely Oli really looked after us, helping my dad choose a local Yorkshire ale. And the food was DELICIOUS, I am a vegetarian and there was so much choice. I can highly recommend the Goats cheese ?
Just the most amazing location aswell, like going back in time, something so magical about that.
So lucky to have this around the corner from us

Read about the tea room and Oli and Sally on the internet so decided to pay them a visit, we were not dissapointed....we were warmly greeted by Oli, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Definately worth a visit.

Perfection ?
This little place is so wonderful. Stopped in for a late lunch. Delightful, food is so fresh and tasty. Plenty of vegetarian options, without a mention of the dreaded sweet potato or butternut squash. The locally sourced ingredients, fresh, homemade bread and cakes are scrumptious. Oli, who served us, was so passionate about great food, welcoming, knowledgeable and charming.
Our meals were delicious, the coffee was spot on...
Flavours, friendliness, idyllic.
Will be returning 100%

A beautiful tea room and village store in the lower part of the village recently opened by Oli and the team. Car parking near the village hall.
We called in for an early lunch and, after a warm welcome, thoroughly enjoyed a ploughman?s lunch with all its Yorkshire trimmings and homemade bread (the latter was by special request but has subsequently been made a permanent addition!).
A substantial menu is available with hot and cold tasty treats and cakes if desired. Lovely outdoor seating is available in good weather and ideal for walkers and dogs, although the indoor tea room is dog friendly too.
After our lunch, Oli showed us round the shop with its local produce and the, soon to be opened, beautifully refurbished ?snug? area which has a log burner for the autumn and winter days ahead!
A gem of a place in the North Yorkshire Moors well worth seeking out, can?t wait for the next visit!

Don't all rush at once, but this delightful cafe and shop in the exquisite Hamlet of Hawnby nestled a valley of the North York Moors is a treat to behold.
We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome by the super friendly owners of this newly opened establishment.
Sit in the lovely garden by a stream, or in the cafe itself. Check out The surprisingly well- stocked shop with all the essentials and some luxuries.
Homemade cakes, fabulous food and licenced too.

Discovered this little treasure by accident and what a find! Oli is a super friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel very welcome.
The cafe is chic and homely, and the adjoining vintage style shop is cute and well-stocked with quality provisions. We enjoyed coffee in the garden and service that was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
