Called in the book shop on a busy, warm day visiting Thirsk Decided the menu look tempting so stayed for a cream tea and a savoury tea. Sat outside in the lovely garden. One of the best cheese scones I?ve had in a long time.

Nothing too much trouble. Great location, coffee and bookshop. My ideal kind of place. Lovely garden where dogs can go in summer but not winter.
