What a Rude man.!!!!!! Asked for a taxi last night. A short distance into Thirsk centre. It was going to be an hour wait. I asked him if by any chance he could make it sooner. His reply was" yeah if I had a helicopter ? "He then put the phone down on me. We then used Chapmans taxis. Lovely man who did a return journey. AVOID KA taxis

Rang up to book a taxi in advance (as I was told is necessary for weddings at Thirsk Lodge Barns) and as soon as the phone was picked up I was greeted with nothing but absolute rudeness. I am shocked to say the least. No customer service skills at all. Repeatedly saying ?I cannot be bothered with this right now? is no way to treat potential customers. Unnecessary. Needless to say I will not be using this company.

Very poor service, needed a taxi from the train station, just said they couldn't do it and that was it, this was at 11am in the morning so not peak, very poor and unprofessional phone manner aswell.

What a fantastic taxi service from Wendy. Travelled with our three year old in the evening with a takeaway in tow after a car breakdown, nothing was too much trouble, our number one for taxis in and around Thirsk from now on. Thank you so much for making our evening so much less stressful!

Amazingly generous company. Used them for a trip to Northallerton from Thirsk. Picked us up later by chance while we were walking ot the side of the road, back from Thirsk town centre to our B&B. Only a mile or so but it was freezing and didn't charge us a penny. Legends

Wanted to book a taxi from Thirsk station to local village. Gave brief description of how far out from Thirsk the village was, and first response I got back was an argument about this. Not booking if this is how potential customers are spoken to.

I tried to book KA Taxi's for a short trip from Thirsk Station to a local garage. After originally having my requested drop off location strangely questioned I agreed to wait until one of his drivers was dropping off another customer at the station in 15-20 minutes.After waiting for 40 minutes I called back and was rudely told his driver had looked in both car parks for me, unfortunately this was not true as I had been stood in the rain for the entire time at the main entrance. The owner was very rude and incredibly unprofessional throughout the entire call and gave no acknowledgement of the mistake or situation. Either your driver did not come to the car park I said I was in, or your drivers' are in completely unmarked cars? How I wasn't called back to confirm my location or if I had was still there further confuses the issue.It's nice to see you standing by your staff so much, however maybe open your mind to the possibilities of mistakes or other issues which left me over an hour late for the rest of my appointments for the day.

Friendly driver and fantastic service. This company offers contactless payment which is important to me. Not all Thirsk taxi companies do. Would deffo recommend.
