Hotel is fine without being outstanding. Staff were friendly and polite. Rooms were standard but could use some TLC and some better cleaning, as demonstrated by the dead moth on my floor, and the chips and stains across the features of the room. Absolutely fine place to stay if you're just after a bed for the night.

Basic room, decor a bit tired but clean and bed comfortable. Nice to have a bath as well as shower and basic hair and body wash provided. Near busy main roads so quite noisy when window open. Good location off the A59, Skipton

Older style travelodge with not many amenities. Has a Greggs and Burger King around the corner which gets really busy on weekday lunchtimes. The staff were nice and helpful.

An older style Travelodge! but they are so much nicer than the new ones with the tiny plastic moulded bathrooms.
A nice big room with a big window which can be opened slightly for fresh air whilst sleeping.
The room was nice and clean and smelled fresh.
The only down side is the lack of electricity sockets / USB ports in the room.
Staff were lovely and friendly, we arrived a little bit early , but they let us in anyway.
We stayed for 4 nights , although a bit out of town , we were able to buy breakfast a couple of minutes walk next door at Robertshaws.
We moved onto a city Travelodge on our travels , although smart and up to date with air-con and USB ports, the room is tiny with very dark blue walls , making it seem claustrophobic , the plastic moulded bathroom is so small , you can hardly move.

2nd stay at Skipton Travelodge. Rooms are always clean & tidy. Comfy bed. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Burger King & Greggs next door which was useful. Only 3 minutes by car into Skipton or a pleasant walk via Aireville Park & along the canal. Will stay again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2025.
Great location, close (in a car) to local attractions in the Yorkshire Dales. And only 5 mins in a car away from Skipton town centre.
Pretty much everything with the hotel itself was fine everything you'd expect from a Travelodge. Bed was comfy, shower worked well.
The only downside was there was only 1 plug socket in my room, which was annoying to charge things like my camera and phone and tablet. I'd recommend bringing 4 plug extension lead.

I had a very good experience at this Travelodge . It was perfectly located for my work. The staff member ( Debbie) on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I will be working in Skipton again at the same venue and I will happily rebook at this Travelodge.
