Visited today, been several times before, but I think it's changed ownership. Always had the ultimate hot chocolate, was always outstanding, but came today and no longer do it anymore. Was so disappointed, just not the same, don't think we will be back, used to be our go to place before a mooch round the market/shops. Quite expensive too. ?

If you like coffee and chocolate, this is a must-visit café whilst you?re in Skipton. Their mochas (particularly their de luxe version) are to die for! As are their cakes, sandwiches and particularly their range of croissants. And then there?s their counter showcase absolutely loaded with delicious, high quality chocolates. The staff are always very pleasant and service (including takeaways) is extremely good ~ although they are often very busy, particularly on market days and Saturdays. There are a number of really good cafés in the Town but this is most definitely my no. 1 ? and virtually all of my friends agree with me too.

A café selling chocolates, ice cream, cake and sandwiches in the middle of the Skipton main street. There is a good amount of seating especially upstairs so you can find a relaxing spot. The coffee is decent.

This place is a favourite of ours, we always visit when we come to Skipton. The dark hot chocolate is amazing, the cakes are delicious, and the coffee is good too!

This used to be really good when it was the chocolate works. Went again today with my family and I?m sorry but it?s just a lot worse. I swear many menu items have gone and the milk shakes didn?t taste. The ice cream wasn?t flavourful and was expensive compared to say the ice cream cans around town. Unfortunate as last time we came before it rebranded we raved about the hot chocolate and bubble waffle things we got. Disappointed.

We got there as they were closing and the staff had a long busy day, but they were all very friendly.
Lovely menu of drinks/treats, as well as lots of tasty looking chocolates.
I got an Iced ice cream latte which was really really good. Like a normal iced latte but made with their whippy ice cream so much creamier (more like a lovely coffee milkshake!)
My wife got a Biscoff milkshake which was also really good. Lovely flavour and thick creamy texture with loads of cream on top.
Also got a giant croissant that we took home, warmed up and put jam in which was amazing!
Clean toilet, and they had a few seats outside as well as plenty inside.
Will definitely come back here again next time we're in Skipton!

Had an absolutely amazing hot chocolate here (a house blend which was a mixture of both milk and dark chocolate). It tasted really nice, so I would definitely come here again! ???

Visited with a friends and kids on a Sunday, after lunchtime. Wasn't too busy, so we could take a seat upstairs after ordering our sweets at the counter. Really big selection chocolates and coffees too, some sandwiches available. The service was really friendly, we will be back.

Wow, amazing place! Accidentally stumbled across this cafe yesterday, it was my daughters 5th birthday and with all the walking we did she needed a break so we decided to stop off for some drinks I am so glad we did. Upon entering the premises we were warmly greeted by a really nice gentleman who took his time to talk to us. I saw a cruffin which I had never tried and fancied it but we had literally just walked in and weren't ready to order, it was the last one and the kind gentleman put it to one side for me until we were seated and ready to order. At this point we found our tables and my daughter was a little restless due to the walking we did, and the gentlemen came over again before we had ordered and surprised my daughter with one of their signature house chocolates as a gift, instantly my daughter was happy and in a lovely mood for the rest of the day, thank you for this kind act.The drinks were truly amazing, the Works PropaMocha is a must have, the best mocha I have had hands down. My son ordered a White Chocolate hot chocolate which he said was delicious. My wife ordered the hazelnut chocolate latte which she was very impressed with. The drinks were truly magnificent and I would definitely make this gem of a place my go to destination whenever I visit Skipton again. The staff are really friendly and the service is exquisite. Thank you again for the service, drinks and to the nice gentleman who made my daughters birthday that more nicer by his very thoughtful and kind gesture.

The nice kind enthusiastic way the two young men staff were busily working away when arrived meant I did not mind at all waiting a few minutes to be served . And a lovely cuppa tea, Taylor s of Harrogate with a couple of their homemade chocs. Sat outside nice smart clean table on main road. Very pleasant and thanks to The Chocolate Works company and staff kindly and cheerily on duty todsy working away very busily energetically and enthusiastically. Might very much call by again here before my 3 weeks stay in great Yorkshire lands ends. Thanks!
