Foods ok but every time I visit one of the food items is stone cold. Tonight it was the chips.
Parking: Heating was broken and electric fan heaters were as useless. Didn’t have hot water to wash hands in the toilets. This may have been fixed now

For some reason everyone was queued at the bar, stretching right back into the pub. Staff were encouraging it by shouting down "whos next", then the person next to me ordered food and the bar staff, unprompted, explained every ingredient in the dish and it took ages lol. Town and pub well worth a visit. Big old building.
The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas.
