“Before lockdown this was the last place I visited with my dad. My dad was saying look a parking spot free, when I got parked and we got out he said no wonder no ones parked here they is birds nesting above whilst laughing his head off. We were visiting malham and I googled pubs after saying I wanted to visit this pub. Weirdly lister was his middle name and it fell on his Birthday unplanned very weird.
After camping and walking up the cove and back it was so relaxing to sit with a pint with peanuts then we had snacks chips and cheesy garlic bread I didn't was to leave.

“Great place! Wonderful staff and host. Room airy, clean with a huge comfy bed. Food absolutely top notch. Lots of game on the menu, pub classics also available for the less adventurous! Good selection of beers, there were two traditional ales on hand pull, there will be more when the season picks up.”

“Basic room, decor a bit tired but clean and bed comfortable. Nice to have a bath as well as shower and basic hair and body wash provided. Near busy main roads so quite noisy when window open. Good location off the A59, Skipton”

“We booked for afternoon tea today for my mum's 85th birthday. The man on reception didn't give us eye contact or greet us as we walked in, not a single word. I sat my mum down and approached him. He was not the most helpful really in his response but we found the lift up to the conservatory. On approaching that the lady who greeted us was lovely wishing my mum a very happy birthday. She took us to our table overlooking the canal and beautiful scenery. The afternoon tea arrived and it was beautiful, loved it. A gentleman member of staff came to our table to wish mum a happy birthday and was generally chatty. Upon leaving he escorted my mum to the lift and helped her down. I went to get my car and he helped her out into the carpark. I thought this was over and above of what's expected of a member of staff and we were very impressed. We will highly recommend your establishment and will return soon. Thank you.”

“Staff absolutely brilliant, nothing too much trouble, food hot on warm plates, comfortable bed,furniture a bit tired ,pub lots of wasted areas .
