If you are in Skipton, should try Greenwood. They serve lovely fresh seafood but you can also enjoy daily specialities or a great coffee along with a great service.

Excellent find, sat outside and had wonderful chowder and the sardines. Easily the nicest meal we had in Skipton. Would definitely recommend this place.

Called in on Saturday just for a drink they have tables on the sunshine
Noticed the food been brought out
Returned a few hours later
I had the sea bass cooked to perfection
My wife had seafood platter again cooked to perfection

On a sunny day in Skipton, we found ourselves at a charming café just off Victoria Square. The outdoor seating was limited but cozy, perfect for enjoying the warm weather. We indulged in a cheese and pickle sandwich on brown bread and an egg mayo sandwich, both accompanied by chips and a small salad. Our refreshing drinks, a Sprite and a Coke, complemented the meal nicely.
The setting was delightful, offering a choice between basking in the sun or relaxing in the shade. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, adding to the pleasant experience. While the atmosphere and service were commendable, we felt that the meal could have offered a bit more value for the price. A more generous portion of chips and salad would have enhanced the experience. Nonetheless, it was a lovely spot to enjoy a meal on a beautiful day.

We decided to try Greenwood Cafe Bistro after finding excellent reviews online from previous customers with ceoliac disease (strictly gluten free). We were not disappointed! We had the best homemade gluten free scones we've ever had & they came served with incredible homemade jam full of fruit. It can be difficult to find good gluten free food when out & about but to find excellent food is a rarity. Thank you!

As newbies to Skipton, we?re still exploring good places to eat - and this cafe is now right at the top of our list! We went for Sunday brunch and I had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup - plus some cheeky black pudding on the side - and it was absolutely delicious! The presentation was fab, the interior was light and modern and airy, and the owners were so lovely! A top tip is to definitely phone ahead to book as it was pretty busy when we went. Very highly recommended!

This place, regardless of the time of day or week, you will be served with absolutely delicious food.
Anytime we have gone (numerous times), the two ladies haven't failed to impress. OK, we normally ring the day ahead, as taking a chance on finding a table is next to impossible on the day.
Booked three months in advance for the Christmas Day meal, we know everything will be perfect.
My husband always says to the two ladies, 'If I win the Euromillions, I want you to come and be our personal chef.' The trouble is with that, the regular customers would be complaining loudly. as Greenwoods has now become a regular feature in Skipton for people with good taste to dine at.
