Have been in many caffe nero with my tiny dog, this is the first one where I've been asked to remove my dog off my knee, the dark haired guy thought he'd come over when it was busy to tell me to put the dog on the floor. Wrong bloke in job, not only did he send the message to me but other people there looked bemused at the incident. Sorry will be using a alternate cafe now.

A better example of a Neros with decent service and coffee / Barista skills evident. My soy cap was good and wife's Oat HC excellent. Just let down, as usual for this chain by the lack of ANY vegan savoury options, all week on our stay here there was nada. At Costa while don't like their coffee as much I had 3 vegan savoury choices including an excellent toastie. Not the fault of the fine Skipton Nero Branch I would guess but some more senior Muppet
Would return, unless I was hungry as because I can't eat meat / dairy these folk think it's fine to have NOTHING
Dietary restrictions: They advertise vegan dishes brilliantly, and also never stock them.

They take UberEats orders then they don't have the food supply and tell UberEats drivers to cancel the delivery and let the customer know when it's there job to let customer know not the drivers so avoid ordering on line staff management unprofessional

I had a lovely warm almond croissant and a delightful hot chocolate whilst watching the world go by before work. The staff were friendly and polite. It was very enjoyable.

Food is decent, coffee is always fairly good. Occasionally it's really good.

We needed a place in Skipton to work for ~2hrs and chose Caffe Nero. We ordered a blueberry mousse cake and a strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was the worst we ever had. Even flavoured milks in supermarkets have better flavour and thickness - the one we had here tasted like the water used for washing the milkshake machine (maybe it was - as we went there at the end of the day on a Sun!). We mentioned this to the person at the counter later - but he seemed least bothered. The cake was ok and the atmosphere was good.Kid-friendliness: Is kid friendly. Also good for working.
