Nice little spot but £4.30 for a coffee took me back. Baffled at how a coffee in a market town can be more expensive than cities? Unfortunately not worth the cost

Large milkshake cost £4.25 in March, now they're £5.95!! I wasn't aware the United Kingdom was rationing milk ffs. (In fact, I just realised I didn't even order a large this time, so what the hell?! And I've just been to London where milkshakes were only £4 for a large at a much posher café...)
Then there was a half hour wait for a bloody TOASTIE with no apology! Café wasn't even half full so no excuse. I ordered a brownie expecting a cold brownie, it arrived warmed up with cream on it. I didn't want nor was told it would be served that way. Card machine barely worked either. Will not be back.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake - both were nice. We were lucky enough to get a seat as it's often very busy

A lovely little cafe in Skipton with friendly staff. The food was really quick, the staff were lovely and the milkshakes were delicious!
This would make the perfect spot for some lunch with family/friends. I recommend!

The food was lovely. The cafe was clean, and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed my meal. Their fries are absolutely delicious ? I am happy I tried the foot, and the smoothies are lovely for at this time of year. The smooth all had interesting names.

Really sorry to post a poor review.
Main issue was waiting over 40 minutes for food and what we got wasn't worth the wait.
It would have been okay if timings were advised when ordering and then the customer can make an informed decision.
The cost was in line with what I would expect in a touristy town like Skipton.
It was busy and I can understand this but the time waiting was not eclipsed by the food ordered.
