We had a delivery of starters and mains with sides. Very fast delivery between 5.30 and 6. Food was very good. Usually would eat in the restaurant but had a takeaway for a change.

Went we with friends as they live in the area. I wished we lived nearer, a great place....take your own drinks.
We had 3 courses all delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Staff were busy but helpful and checked in with us often. The place was full by the time we left. A very enjoyable meal !!

In my opinion, it needs a bit of a revamp. The downstairs where we sat just looks a bit bland. Plenty of people in which gave it a good atmosphere but struggled to hear people at my table. Food was as you'd expect

Got a takeaway. Straight away poperdoms were like gone off crisp. Was the worst meal we have had in a long time.. fair play to the guy came out with more poperdoms, and offered a free starter. But the whole lot seemed like it was this afternoons food. And if your gonna have you over with a poperdom, don't trust the rest.Definitely won't be going again regardless of all the good reviews I've read baffled as to why..

Being brought up in Batley?. I know a good curry and I enjoy mine hot. Since living in Church Fenton I have struggled to find an Indian that can cater for someone who enjoys a hot but tasty curry?.they always arrived either sweet or too spicy and tasteless. That?s until I found the Saffron in Sherburn.The food is absolutely unbelievable. Arrives, hot, tasty and they cater to what we need. I always ask for a dish ?naga strength hot? and each time, whatever I ask for it?s amazing.If I could afford it & my waistline would allow it I would have a Saffron every night!Truly excellent chefs.Please never leave the area! I recommend to everyone who enjoys tasty curries!

We've been going to this local saffron for years, never once have we been disappointed with the food, service and atmosphere. The staff are really kind and easy to get along with. There keema madras always keeps me coming back for more! It's not everyday that you see a twelve year old order a keema vindaloo, so they have been very surprised at my spice tolerance. Will definitely be coming back for decades to come. (Made by Luke, age 12)

With nowhere round here doing tikka kebabs on naan Saffron came through and saved the day! Even made a bespoke chilli sauce which was top notch and hit the spot I've missed since moving here.

The food was really good, fast service, authentically made. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was a problem with the air con when we got there so it was a bit cold but the problem was resolved and we were warm quite quickly. Would definitely eat here again.
