“I like to visit Booths when I can. It’s confined to north west England. It is still a family business and it shows. They hire a range of staff, quite a cast. The bags they sell have puns and emphasis on local. In Settle, the aisles are wide and great selections of 1 allergy avoidance foods 2 beer 3 wine 4 pies 5 fresh fruit veg. The prices are comparable to Waitrose but there are often excellent bargains. We always stock up when here.”

“Centrally located in the market square so easy to walk to. More difficult if you are driving as only on street parking. On the site of an old cinema and a good size for a local shop, although pretty small for a supermarket.”
