October 1st '23 - closes at 4pm NOT 5pm. Google/other websites NOT updated. I suffer chronic, disabling arthritis and pain. My daughter trailed all the way from Wigan on her day off, to take stuff to the tip for me, having checked websites first which stated 5pm. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful but I was amazed when I was asked to pay £3.50 for some broken glass. It was a roof pane from the greenhouse. I have read that you should not put smashed glass in the recycling bin so we took it to Settle. I will think twice next time!
