I?m always in and out of WHSmiths be it for the Post Office located at the back or looking for new books to read.
The books are laid out in a way that makes it easy to find what genre or author you?re looking for, and they?ve even got a trending section so if you?re on BookTok anything you see on there will definitely be in that section of the shop!

Crazy prices, pounds for a Jiffy envelope...sting people desperate to post something quickly. Presumably only survives by having the Post Office franchise, I assume the local Crown PO was privatised to keep WHS afloat.

Please can you not stick labels on books which are nearly impossible to get off. Even when carefully scratched off it leaves marks. I bought two books as presents which were spoilt because of this. I could have bought one of the books for £6 less in a supermarket ? Rubbish selection also. I was looking for a pony/horse book for a little girl and you had nothing whatsoever, not an obscure search!In your Selby branch looking for books is continually interrupted by people queuing for the post office bit which is not great. However your choice of cards is brilliant.

The post office is in the back of this shop.WHSmith sells stationary.book.cards .jigsaws.sweet and paper ect ... can order on line and collect in store. Can get quite busy at time with the post office been in there now .

Service at the post office was terribly slow with long queues of people trying to collect parcels taking up all the staff time as they have to disappear from the tills to look for them each time. The rest of the shop is the same cluttered and overpriced stock at all WHS. Plus sweets. Lots of sweets everywhere you turn. Nothing here you cant buy cheaper elsewhere apart from being forced to visit to collect a parcel.

Sometimes a little cluttered and hard to get around if busy, till area becomes very congested at times but choice and variety of stationary, books and magazines make up for it

Half the store has been turned over to the Post Office. Waste of time WHS being there.
