We have just had the most enjoyable day at the garden gate restaurant, in the private hire room ! We chose to have buffet style party! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! The staff were attentive friendly and polite! Thanks to everyone that took care of us! Lil you were fabulous special thanks to you .

Just had Sunday lunch at Cafe, it was not good. Don't think potatoes had ever seen the roasting tin. Lamb and gravy tasteless. Beef tough. Carrot? mash watery. Mixed veg bland. Server asked if we would like any sauces, asked for mint, horseradish and some extra gravey...never arrived. Understand they were very busy but not really acceptable especially when not cheap at £14.95 each. Obviously won't be returning.

What a lovely place to enjoy lunch . This week was pie week so my daughter tried the Chicken and Ham while I went for the Vegetable crumble. Despite being busy , our food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious, and the portions were more than adequate. I can?t fault this venue. The staff are very friendly and willing to help . Thanks everyone,

Nice to see a Vegan option in the special menu (Pie week) it was very nice. We?re hoping they put more Vegan options in the regular menu too.
