Me and my friends come here to have a look around sometimes, the workers r friendly usually, but i think its the owners son, (for context me and my friends r 13 so we r minors) one day we were having a look at the bags and the owners son was at the till and then me and friend were talking abt the bag she wanted to buy (and by the way there were alot of other ppl in the shop) all of a sudden we turn around and the owners son is behind us getting in our personal space i tell him "we're ok thank u" he keeps pushing it and getting in our personal space and seeming very overly aggressive so we just leave and now me and my friends r scared to go inside, i don't think I'll go after that experience like there were so many adults that he could fo up to why did he have to go up to the 2 minors? Btw this isn't the first time this has happened

Lovely friendly charity shop with a wide variety of clothes, bric-a-brac, games, DVDs and music. All priced very cheaply and all proceeds going to an excellent cause. Recommended.

Large skinny shop so difficult if you have a pram. Worth going in for a bargain though.

Scope is located on Gowthorpe the main street through Selby and is next to Halifax bank. There is street parking outside but limited to 30 mins. Scope is a UK disability organisation whose focus is people with cerebral palsy. The charity raises funds, equality and awareness through there national stores around the country. The Selby branch is stocked with second hand goods from quality clothing, books, toys and bric-a-brac. There is a counter for more valuable pieces of jewellery and pottery. The prices within the store are more competitive than some of the other charity shops. Many a bargain can be picked up in Scope. The staff are volunteers and always friendly.
