waited 20 minutes for menu to be brought over, ordered food then waited an hour and a half for our starter, there was only two of us eating, ordered chips which tasted like grease. Was never asked once if our food was okay not even when the bill was brought over (don?t wear a jumper or jacket as it?s boiling, people where fanning themselves with menus) wouldn?t recommend

Really good food and service was great with servers regularly checking we had everything we needed. We were a large family group for a special occasion too and the service and the excellent food made the night extra special. Thankyou so much!

I?ve eaten here many times before and every time I eat here the food is always cooked to perfection.
Quality mouth watering food that get your taste buds flowing
The menu is always updated so there is always new things to taste including special dishes to try on a regular basis
The service is spot on with a real attention to detail in customer service that is quick and thoughtful
Thank you to all the staff look forward to eating here again

Parking: Free parking after 6pm paid parking before then loads of parking

I really don't like to pass a below-average review as I have visited Sapori many times before and always had a good experience. However, I visited with my family on Saturday evening and it simply wasn't up to par. It all came down to the service.
A few of the service staff upstairs were simply not as polite as they should be with customers. One in particular who simply acted for the whole evening as if she'd rather be elsewhere.
The quality of the food was excellent, except for a pizza which was overcooked / burnt. A starter was missed which took some time to cook and serve - understandable, but there was very little if anything in the way of an apology.
There was also a problem with some customers openly vaping while say at a table in the corner of the restaurant. I reported this to the staff as we were leaving.
It's a shame as we have always enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Up your game and you'll be back at five stars for everything.

This place really is a hidden gem in Selby and very ideal for a family meal out, date nights etc... Was promptly seated and although booking is hugely advised, they will make an effort to accommodate for you if you do not have a booking. Highly attentive and pleasant service throughout the visit. The beer was great and as for the food, that was incredible.

Fantastic place to eat. Very cosy feel but it doesn't feel too cramped. Good choice of drinks and plenty of options for food. A range of specials available on the board. I had carbonara which was fantastic, authentic and wonderfully filling. Prices are very reasonable and very affordable.

Went here for the first time on Saturday evening. I thought I would treat the wife to a birthday meal. I have passed this place a few times and thought it would be something quite special from the menu and pricing. In truth it?s nothing special at all.
I was a bit put off by the people outside the entrance smoking?. One girl had no teeth. Great!
I found it quite cramped inside, very noisy and the food was average at best.
Garlic mushrooms were nothing to shout home about, nice but certainly not the best.
We both chose the £28 beef stroganoff as a main. The beef was chewy and fatty. Honestly?. Marks & Spencer?s do a better version for £7
I love nice food, to eat in a nice atmosphere and sit amongst nice people. Price doesn?t come into if you feel you?re getting value for money in a nice setting. But Sapori 74 just isn?t that?. It?s ok. Just ok.
Lastly?.. the young lady who served us. Perfect! She was the highlight in a very average restaurant.

Parking: Parking is plentiful?. However bear in mind it?s at the back of a supermarket, poorly lit and full of potholes. Few kids hanging about.
