I absolutely love this RSPCA charity shop! The staff are always incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming — not just to me, but to my pets too. They’re wonderful with animals and always greet my dogs and my Lykoi cat with such warmth and care. It’s rare to find a place that truly embraces animal lovers like this.

New manager in there is just awful rude and passive aggressive sadly I won’t be donating or buying from there again or untill she has gone. Such a shame as the last lady was so kind and friendly.

You can help the RSPCA York Animal Home raise money for the care of the sick, unwanted or neglected animals by shopping in and donating good quality items to our charity shops.
We currently have three shops, and we gratefully accept:
Women's, men's and children's clothing
Shoes, handbags, purses, wallets and rucksacks
Jewellery, watches and other accessories
Kitchenware and housewares
Small items of furtniture
Books, CDs, DVDs
Toys, games and puzzles
For information about where you can park to drop off your donations or to find out about our free local pick-up service just call one of the shops and ask for details.
