Was a shame that a lot of the makeup has been used I know it?s not the stores fault but it?s unhygienic, didn?t expect to get asked for id for some eyelashes and was embarrassed that I didn?t have it with me and couldn?t buy them. Seems abit of a silly rule when you only get a small amount of glue in them anyway and I?m 30 not exactly a teenager and I felt like the shop assistant loved the fact that I didn?t have my id on me and just laughed about it no apology.

Such great bargains for designer clothes and good quality. There's a lot of choice for all sizes and the changing rooms are clean and large enough. with friendly staff, this shop is such a good place and I make this a stop on my way home every week.

I went to Scarborough Tk Maxx today 12 Sept 2024 with my wife to purchase socks and two brand new suitcases. Whilst examining a number of cases with my wife which I had taken down from a display. A female member of staff started to put one of them back on the display. I explained that we were still deciding which two to buy to which she said customers don't always put them back inferring that we wouldn't, not how can I help you.. I told her we weren't those people.
Shortly after I approached another lady staff member nearby and asked her what the weight was of the suitcases we were looking at because we could not see it on the attached labels.
She said you will have to take that up with the manufacturer. I explained we weren't trying to buy it off the manufacturer but TK Maxx where the cases were on display for sale.
At my request she did look on her phone but was unable to find the details.
I requested that she asked for this information to be included on the labels. To which she replied. You will have to take this up with the manufacturer.
I personally felt that the staffs attitude and customer service was far from what you expect from a store chain like TK Maxx .
I have visited TK Maxx stores many times and never had customer service like this.
The Scarborough store is not one we will be visiting ever again. I am a 73 year old gentleman and I was surprised and offended by this level of customer service and attitude.

What's not to love!!! I found the pricing here cheaper than Leeds so that was definitely a bonus but nothing could put me off a rummage in TK Maxx
