Our experience at The Waives was absolutely delightful. From the impeccably clean and well-equipped room to the outstanding breakfast made with locally sourced, high-quality ingredients, every detail was top-notch. The beautifully decorated and spacious surroundings added an extra touch of comfort to our stay. While we regret not having the chance to meet Chris, Emma proved to be an exceptional host. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning to The Waives when we visit the area again.

Great to see a young couple having a go, Emma and Chris are well organised and run the premises well, room was good it done the job we were there 5 Nights room was comfy, takes getting use to seagulls, parking can be hit and miss might be lucky and park right outside or next street. (Parking permits provided). Fantastic breakfast with good choice. If you struggle with stairs ask for room on lower floors, lifts expected to be fitted by 2050 ? all in yes we would stay again price was OK but we all want the best for cheap. It's a good walk to get to town going is ok but uphill returning so got local taxi when needed. Best of luck for the future Emma and Chris

Just been to Scarborough this Saturday and stayed overnight at the waves and had a lovely night's stay very clean and tidy and a lovely breakfast would definitely stay again definitely recommend this place??

We stayed in room 3, a king room at the front. It was very quiet. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean, large very comfortable bed, A large bathroom with a roll to bath and a shower, Breakfast was 10/10, lots of choice and perfectly cooked & nicely presented. Our hosts, Emma & Chris were so lovely, there was nothing too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend a stay to anyone. Well done Emma & Chris ? we had a wonderful stay - Thankyou. ?

We recently stayed for 4 nights at The Waves which is beautifully spacious accommodation in a peaceful setting. Our room was spotlessly clean.The bed was very comfortable and the bedding and towels very clean and sumptuous. There was also some toiletries for us to use. Food at breakfast was fabulous and plentiful with plenty of choice. The lounge area is very comfortable and you can listen to music with a free juke box or record player. All of the above was made even better by the accommodating hosts Chris and Emma, who are very pleasant and welcoming. They know how to provide hospitality to a high level and this made our stay even more comfortable.Rooms: Spacious bedroom and bathroom with two comfy chairs in the bedroom. Plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk. Streaming available on the TV.

This luxury hotel is amazing. We had a lovely welcome from Chris and Emma. Very clean and tidy and the room was cosy. Very close to the sea front. Very comfortable and quiet night sleep. Very tasty breakfast with many choices. We definitely will be returning. Thank you to Chris and Emma.

Just spent 2 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast guest house. Chris and Emma were very welcoming and friendly we were even offered cake on our arrival. ( I forgot to ask who baked the gorgeous date and walnut cake). The whole house is spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious the bed was very comfortable and no expense has been spared on the bed linen and the fluffy towels.The bathroom had both a shower and a free standing Victorian style bath which I loved. The breakfast was excellent too and was served in a nice dining room with fantastic unusual lighting. I would not hesitate in recommending this place to family and friends and will definitely stay there the next time we are in Scarborough.

Recently stayed here. Emma greeted us at the door and she was so lovely and helpful. Very friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble for her. She very kindly brought up some fresh milk for us and offered to carry out bags up the stairs. The room we were in was so nice and the bed was super comfortable. The only slight problem was the water in the shower was lukewarm not hot. The breakfast we had was amazing and Chris is an excellent cook. Would definitely book another stay for a bit longer ?Rooms: The room we were in was very well laid out and comfortable. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate laid out with a kettle and plenty of sugar and milk. There were biscuits available which was a nice touchWalkability: Very easy to get to the beach. It's a 10 minute walk

Very pleasent stay , house was lovely Chris and Emma were very accommodating and nothing was any trouble . Lovely breakfast always asking if you wanted more . Room was excellent fully recommended.Rooms: Rooms were very spotless and clean , extremely comfy bed we had the Kingsize room .
