Tried to fob me off with a small single standard room. Had to return to reception and point out my original booking was for a different room which they appeared to begrudgingly give me!!! I then started wondering why they asked me strange questions when i booked in like when did you book ? What type of room do you have, how many are there, all I said was look at my booking, very strange. So for that alone I've marked them down. The rooms are dated with staining on the walls and bedding. ?

We arrived 23 of us. Got our rooms. We had time to spare to go out. Back in time for dinner.
Rooms: My room was on the 2nd floor. At 64 this laid on for me. My room was clean and tidy.
Food and drinks: As we were staying two nights. We had dinner which was really tasty, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on both days were very good my only concern was the very slow service by the bar staff. ( both the men would never last in a busy pub. ) . A fire alarm had us all out of bed at 005. 30 a.m. Sunday morning. We were told it was water damage the caused it. ( I don't think so. ) I had family sleeping on the 4th floor, no one checked them. Several of them had walking problems. No check on them .

Room we stayed in smelt of drains. We were on floor 6 which is like an attic room so has limited space compared to others.

Just a kind thought to say Very Big Thank You for nice Carvery you served very impressed also been to new Starbucks another highly recommended place to visit as i came with Coopers Tours in Grimsby N.E.Lincolnshire i was on a day trip to Bridlington and Scarborough but due to circumstances beyond the coach driver having a blow out in Bridlington i came on my own by EYMS bus number 13 so had a tour around for £2.00 i had a fantastic day out definitely be coming again next year so many thanks once again for great service from The Biggest Party Goer in Cleethorpes from Party Paul ? ? cheers once again.

Rather snappy and grumpy when checking in and at the day time bar . the dinning room staff on the other hand was very pleasant. The food was spot on the gammon I had was beautiful at t time and there was a good choice at evening meal as was at breakfast

Fantastic hotel.. The staff are an amazing bunch who go above an beyond to tend to your every need.. Me my mum an my autistic son holiday here often.. If your not happy with your room they get it sorted straight away.. Roll on 8 week as we're her again. ?

The hotel has seen better days. But it is still the architectural highlight of the coastal strip.

Rooms are on the small side, excellent food and the location is fab, unfortunately no parking on site but plenty of car parks, make sure you use the car parks that you get parking concession with.
I had a sea view and the outside window sill is deep and sand collects on it so when you open the window, sand blows into your room.
In my opinion, the booking in procedure is too long, the queue can stretch through the foyer through the back doors.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, all in all a really nice place ?
Noteworthy details: There is a cheap ride down to the beach from the right hand side of the hotel, it is quite a walk otherwise.
