Not a bad store but a bit small. What is quite infuriating is the excessive prices, the company has the audacity to state that due to the size of the branch the excessive prices are needed to reflect the extra costs to cover the overheads. Considering that every £1 spent on groceries in the UK - 33 pence goes through a Tesco till.

Friendly, helpful staff. Always service with a smile. Pretty good variety for an express store. Limited parking but fine for a quick in and out picking up items
Everything you would expect at Tesco Express.

Good variety of product, if you are a smart shopper bargains to be had. Caution - don't forget your Tesco club card, as products are only available at that price with it. You CANNOT get one in store. Parking & Wheelchair access are excellent.

I was visiting the Tesco Express on Castle Road in Scarborough on Tuesday morning (24/08/2021) and witnessed a member of Tesco's staff being racist to a customer. When I arrived at the store there was a young Asian man stood outside in a traditional-style dress, possibly Buddhist, and when I entered the store there was a female customer walking around in a similar style of dress.I walked down the next aisle to the lady just in time to overhear one of Tesco's disgusting members of staff whistle the 'Oriental Riff' after her.I pointed out to the employee that what he had done was incredibly racist, but he just laughed and said, "What?" as if he didn't know what I was talking about.I am so unbelievably furious about this; in what universe is it acceptable for anybody, and particularly someone who works in customer service and with the public, to embarrass and harass customers based on their ethnicity and traditional dress?Every customer, regardless of race or religious beliefs, should be welcome in the UK and in Tesco stores. The employee in question is a tall, older Gent (in his 40s or 50s). He's balding, with dark shaved hair. This incident happened at approximately 10.45am on Tuesday 24th, and the member of staff was filling the freezers at the back of the store alongside a colleague.

Open long hours. No more expensive than the local corner shop

Good enough but they'd sold out of the stuff that made up their pizza offers.
