Kate rebuild one of my front teeth and has done the most amazing job.The nurse and Kate were great in the way they looked after me during the whole process and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Today, 10th January 2024, I took my Mum to her appointment at this Scarborough Dentistry location. My Mum is elderly with various health issues that keep her practically housebound. As a result of said health issues she has had to reschedule her appointment twice already but felt, with my assistance, that she could make the effort to attend the appointment today. One of her main problems is being able to breath & not having the body strength to climb stairs. During our journey to the practice Mum asked me to take her to the rear entrance, as there are less steps to navigate, which is what we did. On reaching the reception we were asked if we had come in through the rear & immediately chastised & told, in no uncertain terms, that was not allowed & that we would be leaving through the front entrance! On explaining Mums difficulties I was told that it was not important & if I insisted on leaving through the rear entrance she would lock the door so that we could not. When I asked the receptionist why she was acting this way I was told that it was because, in the past, somebodies vehicle parked in the rear had got scratched! this all happened, in a heated manner, right in front of my Mum who heard every word.I think this is inexcusable & a disgusting way to treat your patients. I know standards are dropping all the time but this, in my opinion, is a new low.I hope that this particularly insensitive excuse for a human being receptionist makes it to her 80s with debilitating health issues & somebody makes her feel like her life & well being is worth less than a possible scratch on a car door. However, I doubt very much that this sad person will make it that far unless she finds some compassion & goes on a diet.

Everyone at the mydentist in Scarborough was friendly, efficient and informative. So much better than my previous dentist. The dentist and her nurse were lovely and I came away feeling happy.What a change.

I rang for an emergency appointment and i got in the same day! :)The dentist was amazing and so understanding due to my fear of needles, she took it slow and waited for me. Will never leave this dentist shes the best ive had by far! ??

Every thing about this dental surgery is great - from the friendly, efficient reception staff, nurses and dentist.I also go to the hygienist and for a very nervous patient she is fantastic! Communication is very good with regular appointment reminders which are very helpful.This is by far the best dentist Surgery I have ever had.

My Dentist Noth Marine RoadIam a 72 year old married man,in not very good health, but can mange with all y faculties at the present moment. Due to the covid 19 pndemic, for the past two at least as most people appointements, shopping, doctors, dentists, keeping up to date wth things, has by no intention got pushed to the back of ones mind.Having not been to my dentist since covid, i needed to book a.s.a.p. i have attended North Marine Road surgery for 66 years going back to when Mr Barker started the practice.I phoned today ,1st June 2023 for an appointment,spoke to a snooty receptonist who told me i could not get an appointment,i do realise i hand not been there for 3yrs because of covid, but got told i had been removed from there list! Never mind all the years man & boy Mr Barker, Mr Perkins whm were my dentists. Sorry no NHS! and told i could not re-register, go and find another dentist! Another local dentist, i contacted after my run-in there was a very helpful lady, who pointed me in the right direction of what to do next -different again. I know things are hard and difficult at the present for everybody, businesses included, but what about flexibilty and common decency!!To rate this practice out of five ,i rate this practice MINUS 5 ignore the one but had to put something in to add this post.
