I was walking to the Scarborough store when I tripped on a kerb and fell heavily, cutting both my hands, my knee and my forearm. The pharmacist I saw was fantastic and couldn?t have been more helpful, cleaning me up and giving me advice on how to manage my wounds. I?m afraid I?ve forgotten his name but would like to thank him again for his help via this review. Faith in human nature restored.

Terrible service in the cafe, closed because they need to catch up with washing up. No food or drinks being served. I sat and watch people order food only to go to the till and get a refund. Put some signs out! ?

These people really go above and beyond to help people, so much so I can honestly say they are brilliant. Even when some talk and treat them in a manner that is not polite...

Would not except my prescription because the asain doctor who wrote it from Scarborough hospital had wrote tablets instead of capsules,, useless. I Wish I had looked at the reviews before I was even tried this pharmacy

Disappointed with the service for prescriptions - we have had multiple occasions where staff have made it difficult because prescriptions have only come through that day, as if that's a reason not to need it, with very little patient care.

We have always used Morrisons pharmacy to collect prescriptions but today the service we received was beyond shocking! My son was taken into hospital by ambulance this morning for a nasty case of croup where he was struggling to breathe and was given a dose of steroids by the doctor and we were told that another dose would be prescribed and to collect from the pharmacy to give again tonight at home. My partner collected the medication and there was no communication from the staff other than hi, what name, bye.. which would be fine if the label on the medication actually told us what to do.
I rang the pharmacy this evening to clarify how the medication is to be given as there was no instructions with it, the label literally says ?use as directed.? We had no idea how much of the medicine we were supposed to give etc. The lady who answered literally just said ?hello? when I confirmed it was actually the pharmacy she told me they were about to close did I need something. I quickly explained my issue and the first lady apologised and said that they have given out so much of this particular medication today that they ran out of patient information leaflets so that?s why we didn?t get one. I?m sorry but what sort of excuse is that? That?s your justification for giving out a steroid medicine for a one year old child with zero instructions? She then told me to have a look on Google for the instructions. I asked what dose we were supposed to be giving as it was not clear on the very vague label, baring in mind the label also says ?WARNING READ THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION GIVEN WITH THIS MEDICATION?.. which was obviously non existent. She said she would speak to a colleague. Said colleague came onto the phone and very rudely said words to the effect of ?what is it I can actually help with as we are closed and need to go.? Why even bother answering the phone if you are closed and then not willing to help?! She couldn?t of been more useless, telling me she?d spoke to my partner about what to do, which was a complete lie. There is absolutely no need to be so rude to people who are ringing for advice about a child taking medication! Asking me what the doctor told us as that?s what we should do, even though I was explaining that the doctor gave my on the first dose and said take the second dose in 12 hours, nothing more. I never ever leave reviews but to hand out medication for a 1 year old with absolutely no information and then try make people feel like they are wrong when the store is still technically open is a complete joke! Would be zero stars if I could.

I had the same problem with Cohen's Chemist, a long wait even if there's no queue to collect what was prescribed five days previous is unavailable, but on order. Call back in a couple of days and go through it all again.

Went to see pharmacist for some help with a pretty nasty bite, refused to see me even though they didn?t close for another 30 minutes. I got told it was ?cut off time? I have worked in pharmacy for 5 years and I have never received such dismissive service with rude servers.
Absolutely ridiculous wouldn?t bother wasting your time.

Used Morrisons pharmacy for a good 5 years now. Usually the ladies that work in the pharmacy are helpful and will go out of there way to ensure my prescription is ready and if not, usually we have a muse around the store and pop back. Today my husband and myself went to pick my prescription up as we are going on holiday tomorrow. The doctors surgery had sent it on Monday so it had been the 48hours that is stipulated to wait for it to be ready to pick up. The lady went to look, came back and said it wasn't ready and to come back tomorrow. I explained I needed it today as I needed to dispense it into pill boxes, (I do take a lot of medication and I appreciate that it does take time to put my prescription together). Another assistant came, I have terrible anxiety so was getting myself in a state, she was so rude and extremely unhelpful. By now I was in tears. I left without my prescription,my husband is going to call on his way to work to see if its ready. The 2 assistants I haven't seen before, unsure whether they're new. New or not, I think they need a lesson in customer care and some mental health training. I am looking for a new pharmacy, I don't want to be treated like this again

Prescriptions sent here are frequently not available, without any information as to when it will be available for pickup. They also do not accept any type of e-prescriptions. Their website states they are available to assist with a variety of issues, I have been turned away twice when asking for assistance with these. One issue they claim to be able to help with are infected bug bites; my partner has just that and was told he needed to go to A&E where he was told he had an infected bug bite. An unnecessary 6 hour wait which took us to a point where all pharmacies were closed too be able to collect any antibiotics. Overall not great experiences at this location.

He told me to seek medical attention immediately and call 111 I did this immediately and was directed to Scarborough hospital. Were she was seen immediately on arrival. And she was given treatmentShe is doing a lot better now. I would like to thank you mr pharmacist for your direct and no nonsense advice.if it hadn?t of been for you I may not of seeked the medical attention that she rapidly needed. We all thank you

Unfortunately I had to use this pharmacy in a medical emergency and never experienced such a rude and unsympathetic team.
