Just had silver service of my 35 year old road bike at Halfords Scarborough. I ve looked after it but with covid and laziness needed an overhaul. Still has its original gear, chain set and shimano chafers! Needed added work on brakes, gear cables and long standing throw in back wheel.
Came back like new bike! Stripped degreased and cleaned drive and gear sets with new tyres.
Runs like a dream. Well worth £130 investment. Adrian who assessed and sorted work in less than 5 days -great job. Thanks

the managers of this store got no ideea what a manager has to be..tottaly unproffessional and tottaly unaware of his position..nevertheless the Hallfords staff think that all people don't know how things are working ..eg:when a customer order online then the staff from the store are colle ting the products and then in theyr system are marking as completed so that the automated message can kick off and then customer will receive the confirmation txt..when the staff doesn't do theyr job properly then the automated system doesn't kick off...yet the manager was eager to blaim the main office for theyr fault.
and the second though..A MANAGER SHOULD BE CALM AND POLITE WITH A CUSTOMER ..EVEN MORE WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS ANGRY..NOT IN THIS CASE..THE MANAGER TRHEATHEN ME TO KICK OUT OF THE STORE....PATHETIC STAFF..HORRIBLE...NEXT TIME I will think twice before using Hallfords

Can not praise Halfords in Scarborough enough. Had a Android carplay fitted to my campervan. Very professional, polite and curtious. Will definitely be going back for future purchases. Thank you to all your team.
