Have been coming here for years because for a long time it was really good. Convenient and priced well.Something has happened over the last few months though and 8/10 I go in they don't have what I get. To be clear, we are talking years of consistently having the same things and those always being available. Now it's always, "we didn't get any baguettes in/there's no bacon/we don't have that today they didn't send it".They're constantly out of something or another and I've just got fed up with it.It's a shame because I've genuinely been coming here for years.I'll go elsewhere.

There doesn't appear to be a place to comment on all the cooplands shops, so this will have to do, been using cooplands for bread, cakes, and the cafes for years now and never had a problem until recently... I believe they were taken over? Well, since then I've had dry bread rolls and bread, cakes and doughnuts that tasted over a day old, lack of hot products later in the day and coffee that would have been ok had there actually been any coffee in the cup rather than hot milk. Cooplands used to be the place to go for baked goods but not anymore in my opinion, really gone downhill in recent months, however, there is some good news...i've found another that is up to cooplands old standards and above....Thomas the Baker, lovely soft fresh baked goods once again, and to top it all one member of cooplands staff admitted they now use Thomas's because of the fall in quality of cooplands and they work there! Say's it all really.

Lovely little Cooplands on the corner of North Marine Road and Hope Street. The staff are very friendly and the bakery itself has plenty of choice.

Im very disappointed they've stopped chicken tikka ? I like what they have on the menu but it's ridiculous why they had to get rid of that!

Nice little local shop on north marine road does sandwiches and drinks, also supplies a great deal of bread and scones ginger squares which are handy, staff tend to be polite in my experience

Basically like Greggs but better. Polite staff at both ones in central Scarborough. The pasties are more the shortcrust kind which means they're very filling for what they are, and the yum yums are just that little bit more squishy and flavoursome than the Greggs ones.

I went into the cafe on Westborough for breakfast. Poor hygiene, no soap dispenser in the toilet so no way of washing hands. Saw a guy from the kitchen come out of the toilet and go back to the kitchen - did he wash his hands? Breakfast in a box? Awful, no eggs, soggy hash brown and cheap and nasty sausage. Thought I'd support a local business but now I'll stick to Greggs.

Used to love this shop, since they were taken over, the quality and choice has gone down but the prices have gone up, I would recommend avoiding them. They are clearly cutting costs at the customers expense, won't be using them again

Just awful , waiting for 16 mins 4 people walked out ,not many waiting but the service is terrible far too slow to busy talking,seems to be no organisation.then when you get served another long wait while they get what you want Never again rather do without and they can do without my penny's for 2 sandwich meal deals and bread buns

Absolutely terrible. Went here a couple of months ago, an older women who works in the shop was incredibly rude and arrogant. I asked for specific things in my sandwich and the way i got looked at you would have thought i?d done something terrible. Definitely needs a new staff and manager (guessing she was) because her customer service was disgusting. I would put zero starts if that was an option.

Walked into the shop completely ignored young lady then walked from round the counter past me then back behind the counter with her back to me I was completely blanked . Is it so hard to acknowledge people these days . Rude
