Very rude 'manager' at Scarborough store. Went today to buy some birthday cards. Took my miniature dog, who has been in this store many, many times, who was in my arms. She never put a foot to the floor. I was immediately accosted by a very rude lady who identified herself as the manager who started with what can only be described as a rant about dogs not being allowed in store as it is company policy. This was a lie. She then said there was a no dogs notice on the shop door. Another lie. She told me i was being abusive. Another lie. I pointed out i was a customer who was unhappy about the treatment i was receiving. When I told her my little dog had been in the store ( and others) many times she called me a liar. My little dog is 13 yrs old and tiny. No trouble to anyone. Finally Card Factory should tell their staff not to put their hands on customers! WH Smith, a few doors up, got my money and they were very welcoming.
Card Factory, you need to teach your staff basic manners. Won't be shopping, or recommending Card Factory again.

Great range of cards. Cheap too. Also if you are looking for a card for a lesbian coworker who is leaving work to get married to a non binary chest of drawers you'll find a suitable card in here nowadays !! It's unbelievable !!

Great store, breaking the horrendous charges of many other card shops and supermarkets. Quality cards at great prices. Wide stock of most if not all occasion cards and associated gifts.Stock of Helium balloons too.If you want a personalised card then check out their website. Most include free personalisation and delivery.

I had to ask to pay for my cards as both staff behind the till where more bothered about about moving things and chatting than serving me and the person behind me. When I asked to pay for my cards she said ?yeah two mins? not very good service at all
