Had an hour to kill before my train was departing and walked into this charming old school pub. The fixtures were spot on, 70s funk and rock played and the place just spoke of ages gone by. The server was an engaging conversationalist who was gracious enough to let me talk with my grandiosity.
Highly recommend anyone to go in and whet their whistle.
Did not seek accomodation here.

The pub is in a good position, however room 3 is not suitable for letting out , with cracks in the wall and peeling wallpaper, it felt more like a squat than a hotel room, did not expect 5 star for price paid but the standard here is poor, bar in the evening pleasant for a pint, did not eat here.

Just had a Sunday Carvery here with my family. Everything was beautiful and full of flavour. My 7 year old who is very fussy and never eats roast dinners ate beef and turkey for the 1st time ever and said this place is the best. Will definitely be back again. thank you

Very nice pub with classic period features and friendly staff. Unfortunately when we visited it was absolutely freezing inside and the beer selection was terrible.

So I just had the pleasure of staying here overnight because I wanted to visit Saltburn, the pub is very old but when you get to your room for the night, the rooms are quite nice and modern they don't smell, loved the bathroom, the bed is very comfortable plenty of pillows, they also provide towels, soap, a kettle along with milk and sugar, TV in the room as well, plenty of plug sockets! Very comfortable and spacious! Also, there's WiFi... There's some information that they provide waiting for you on the table with the WiFi password
Rooms: The rooms are very spacious
Nearby activities: The Beach is just around the corner
Food and drinks: They provide milk pots for tea and sugar
