Disgusting attitude towards patients. Wrongly diagnosed my serious health conditions constantly which led to me almost having a stroke and going blind in my right eye. Told multiple doctors my heart was racing and I couldnt breathe while doing housework they told me it was because of anxiety not my extremely high blood pressure and kidney disease. Heard me physically struggling to breathe after being diagnosed as about to have a stroke by James cook and told me to book a routine appointment. I would rather go to the vets for a professional opinion then go to this surgery again. At least they care about their patients! My story is worse than this but I can only say so much on here. I have informed teeside news and itv about this surgery in the hope that the story gets published and other patients come forward about their awful treatment from them that risks their lives from this surgery. These doctors get paid to do a job they're not doing. Sending people away with no treatment or investigation into their illnesses is disgusting. If you care about your relatives get them out of this surgery.

A practice in steep decline.. doctors more interested in protecting their own money pot than in providing a service for vulnerable groups. Their attitude is obviously reflected in the support staff they employ.

Latest: Dr. trying to be nice, suggested I write to my MP to campaign for better local services. I've been a carer for 12.5 years, and I've had 3 weeks off in that time. I replied I had enough on my plate already. They just don't get it. In a practical sense, platitudes don't actually help anyone. They just make you feel more isolated. My mum's nosebleeds, multiple times a day over weeks, is something we needed help with, and I was not comforted or reassured by the doctor telling me that she's not known anyone bleed to death with a nosebleed.I anticipate I am not popular at this surgery. I experienced poor service and support, and I questioned it.****Horrible. Frail, disabled relative with dementia suffering over a week of severe nosebleeds. Given unhelpful, incorrect and confusing information. Told by various staff: tip her head back (wrong - you should tip your head forward); go to Redcar Primary Hospital (wrong - they can't cauterize nosebleeds there - so that visit was bloody and traumatic); take her to St. James (but if nose bleed stops, they'll send her home anyway); call 999 and see what happens. My relative was somehow assigned a random postal address we've never heard of, so a nurse went to wrong address.Spoke to a Dr. at the surgery. He suggested respite care (so she could bleed in someone else's house?) and concluded that there was no more advice he could give me on how to manage my mum's nosebleeds; at which point I said, "Thank you. Goodbye." I asked for it to be in my notes (I wonder if he will add this) that I fear my mum bleeding to death at home, and I fear having a stroke with the stress.Trust extremely low in this service. I have read NHS and website notes on the Internet which advise diagnostics for recurring nose bleeds in the elderly. This doctor apparently doesn't think this is necessary for my mum.Update: Now a month of nosebleeds. Mum very frail. Now offered possible ENT attention. Very traumatic time.
