“Decided to buy a new bed recently, as my partner was experiencing back pain when waking up.

We were keen to support a local business, so visited the Ripon shop and received a warm welcome from John, who has a wealth of experience in the industry.

John listened to our needs and made recommendations based upon them. Taking the time to explain the differences between the mattresses and getting an understanding of my partner's sleeping habits. Also considering best storage options.

In the end we chose the The Ice Cloud Ortho 2000 , designed for those that like a firmer feel to their mattress. This zoned support system ensures a perfect support to the heavier parts of your body whilst not being over supportive on your lighter areas, ensuring good support at all times. Opting to buy the ice cloud pillow also.

Rob the owner and John have been nothing less than excellent in terms of the service they provide. We were so impressed with them we recommended a friend also use their services.

The bed arrived promptly and was delivered by two wonderful fitters, who were respectful of the property, very polite and who were happy to answer any queries I had.

From start to finish, a top class service from a business you can trust.

“Great service both in store and delivery. The Harrogate store really looked after us with choosing the right bed and talking us through the deals and aftercare.Delivery drivers were polite and managed to shift an extremely heavy mattress up the stairs in our flat in under a minute (no idea how, took me 15 mins to move the old one!).Only thing to bare in mind is delivery times start from 7am - our half hour courtesy call was at 6.30am and delivery just after 7am so make sure you're up!Will definitely buy from Bensons in Harrogate again when we require a new one.”

“This was the first time to ever visit this chain of shops. I liked the fact that in front of the shop they had a big box of free (out of date) vegetable seeds to pick through. Inside, it was a treasure trove of almost anything that you can think of. An Aladdin's cave of knick knacks - of stuff that you never realized you need until you saw it here. I picked up a couple of large balloon sized glasses for huge gin and tonics. Very useful... Some of the aisles were a bit cluttered with half opened boxes, but OK.”

Rebecca has also been really supportive with hints and tips for our subsequent bakes. Baking sourdough has become a really enjoyable enjoyable process and we are getting some fab results!”
