Amazing food with really good quality ingredients. Cakes are delicious and homemade. Even if you don't visit the hall and gardens the cafe is worth a visit. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Totally disorganised.Chaotic atmosphere.Long queue for food only to be told 50 mins wait minimum. Most people walked out. Others grabbed scones and bags of crisps as the only food available. Staff were trying their best but needs rethink on food offering and reorganising to provide service to customers and to be more profitable. Needs less cooked to order and some grab and go items like sandwiches. Stop queuing in middle of tables and staff having to fight way through with plates of hot food.

Highly recommend, I visited Scampston Hall on Friday 5th April 2024 with lifelong friends and partners. There were 10 of us in total and we were treated like VIPs just as advertised. The staff went above and beyond to spoil us and make our visit in a word ?outstanding?
The history of Scampston Hall and the family is very interesting and our guide Ann made the tour fun and factual, her depth of knowledge is truly remarkable. Ann is a natural and made the tour so very interesting.
After the tour we had drinks in the drawing room followed by afternoon tea served by Craig the Halls butlers, who again shared information answering all our questions and of course the food was delicious. I am a vegetarian and allergic to shellfish and my dietary requirements were catered for, as are Vegans.
Outstanding value for money for Afternoon Tea and private tour of the Hall. We all said we would definitely return and cannot thank Katie the Halls Marketing & Visitor Services Manager enough for organising with myself the visit, excellent communicator.
Don?t worry if your disabled or poor mobility the Halls have lots of seating around the tour soo people are able to rest whilst looking and listening to the tour.
Scampston Hall is the most spectacular, interesting with lavish decor, history and architecture stately home I have ever had the privilege to visit.
Thank you Katie, Ann and Craig for making our day so pleasurable, we truly felt like VIPs, spoilt from the moment we arrived till leaving. We were on a high for the rest of the evening and weekend sharing our experience with friends and family.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's plenty of spaces between tables to get a wheelchair in and able to be pushed right up to the table which makes eating easier
