Gorgeous quiche - so tasty. Then your pick of delicious desserts. I had a chocolate mousse cake which was really light & tasted amazing. My mum had a fruit tart & said it was so good. Highly recommended!

last Spring we stumbled across this beautiful tearoom purely by chance and on stepping inside couldn't believe our eyes the cakes , the chocolates the savouries all looked just so amazingly delicious and beautiful and we were not disappointed when we ordered tea and cakes and all served beautifully with such a friendly chatty atmosphere . We were getting married that year and I had been looking for some special chocolates too for our forth coming wedding as favours and I had not seen anything anywhere that excited me but oh my when I saw the beautiful handpainted chocolates Ellie makes that was it love at first sight and we arranged with Ellie there and then to make all our chocolates for the adults and lollipops for the children going with their names on . Ellie even went one step further saying you can have them all colour coordinated and the flavours you want too if desired . We had already got someone on board to make our wedding cake otherwise I would have asked Ellie that day too but cometh the week before the wedding disaster struck and our cake maker backed out and we were in a mess and Ellie came to the rescue when we told her and we were just going to purchase a beautiful cake from her fridge but even though she was all booked up making lots of other cakes that week Ellie said she would make us a three tiered cake can you believe it we certainly couldn't!! Needless to say our cake was the most beautiful tastiest wedding cake we could have dreamed off . Ellie and her coffee shop really is one in a million for sure and everybody at our wedding commented that day and afterwards on the wonderful chocolates and our beautiful Wedding cake . We gave Special thankyou gifts to our friends that helped and supported us with our wedding of afternoon teas at Ellies as we wanted to share this wonderful coffee shop and all inside it with them too . This week Ellies first week of opening for 2025 we went for afternoon tea ourselves this time as Mr and Mrs and it was as we knew it would be the best tastiest and beautiful experience of afternoon tea ever !! THANKYOU ELLIE you are simply truly are the best!

Well. Where do I start!? On our way to visit a Walled Garden in the same village and wanted a quick lunch beforehand. From the outside - converted farm outbuildings? Open the door...and Wow! Display cabinets around the till, and shelves everywhere bursting with homemade produce. Pies, quiches, cakes - more varieties than I could possibly mention. And then the walls! Shelves full of chocolate products - again, too numerous to mention! AND ALL MADE BY THE OWNER, ELLI. Mind blowing!
This is a small premises, so space is limited. The quality of the food is outstanding. My pasty was the best I've ever had, my wife's cheese and spinach quiche was amazing ( and a fitting birthday treat for her). We WILL be back. A real treat for very affordable prices. Thank you.

Says dog friendly but dogs are not allowed in. No cheese scones and toasted teacakes so just had a flat white that was over extracted coffee. Could not dine in we had dogs .

An absolute gem which is luckily on our doorstep. Fantastic pastries, irresistible sweet treats and the best coffee around. Elli makes the most amazing chocolates. A must try if you are in the area!

Beautiful little cafe which we stopped in for lunch. The quiches were great, as was the coffee and milkshakes. There was also a cake counter but we were too full to try that out - maybe next time!They are dog-friendly (outside only) and we sat in the grass paddock where one of the staff brought over some dog water :)

Once again, a treat to just go and look at all the goodies on show, nevermind eat some of them. Tea, coffee and sublime hot chocolate with ginger slice and a lemon tart - all delicious! The owner is a competitive chocolatiere and the photos are of some of her competition entries, the pirate being her latest.

Stopped off here for coffee and cake whilst out walking our dog. Felt really comfy sat outside, one of the kitchen staff whilst out in the garden interacted with us and our dog.
