After seeing the Ripon branch recently I've come to the Richmond one and it's just as bad. Step ladders left unattended. Boxes left all over. What a mess this shop is. I don't think Yorkshire trading knows about health and safety

At around midday today 20th September I visited the Northallerton branch I asked a member of staff on the floor what the price was of some weed killer spray which was not priced up. Haughtily he said that they were too busy to help and I would have to check at the till. He then walked to the one of the tills, because there was indeed, a large queue waiting. There was nobody at this till, I thought I was to follow him, so I asked him to please price up the item. Haughtily, yet again, he said to go back to the end of the queue and wait for a price. I could not believe his attitude for such a simple request. Employing him is doing the company no favours at all, I am afraid. All I wanted was the price of some weed killer! Shame on the Company and shame on the Store Manager for employing him.

But if an Aladdin?s cave of a store. Goes back way further than you think and has a wide variety of goods. You can get everything from clothes, stationary, toys and lots more. Some of the prices are amazing as well, so cheap. Sometimes there?s a bit of a queue to pay.

I bought some maximums alkaline batteries here for £1.50 but instead of getting a good deal one of them got really hot really fast and burnt my finger when I put the battery in my game controller not happy one bit

Having just shopped today and found that a nice tin of malteasers are three months out of date tells me they don't check there stock or more worrying there happy to pull this stunt to get rid of old stock and it just gets better!!! Upon checking they over charged by 100% for these out of date goods
