Excellent location so handy for town, shops and supermarket. Property has seven en suite bedrooms with two in the courtyard so plenty of space for all our family. Every bedroom has a colour theme with decor and accessories to match and very tastefully done with lovely clean white fluffy towels and luxurious bedding. The games room went down well with the teenagers . Spotlessly clean and kitchen well equiped with everything provided. A lovely 4 night stay and look forward to a return visit.

On our recent visit to Richmond we stayed at this seven bedroom house. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The kitchen was very well equipped. Each bedroom was en-suite and the ground floor bedroom was suitable for less mobile guests. I would recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic house, spacious in all areas, spotlessly clean. Lovely outdoor and general communal areas. We booked directly via the owner for our 2nd stay in 12 months and the whole process was fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for Gordon. Richmond village is lovely great pubs shops and eateries. Would highly recommend Kerry Marie?s cocktail bar and Amontola Indian restaurant.

This is a lovely gem of a house catering for 12 family members all bedrooms were en suite so suited everyone.Superb decor throughout whilst still capturing the history of the building, a lovely touch with the welcome basket full of goodies. Very friendly owner who was willing to be on hand via a phone call if needed. We had a fab time and we will definitely recommend this accommodation to others, the Christmas lights in the town were beautiful and Richmond has some lovely gift shops, pubs and eateries well worth a short stroll from Rosedale.

Wow what a great place, we booked the whole place for a long weekend for a family celebration and it didn't disappoint. All the rooms are very spacious, clean and well equipped. Hat off to the owners they really have thought of everything. There are TV's in almost every room and a great movie room on the top floor with PS4 and Wii to keep everyone entertained. Highly recommended ??

This house is now rented out on a self catering basis. It is a lovely house in a convenient location in Richmond. We used it for a week long birthday celebration with various friends and family all joining us for a few days. All rooms were well furnished with good quality bedding and all en suite. Very well equipped kitchen and a lovely welcome pack was also a delightful touch. The owner Gordon was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, in terms of advice and assistance. His advice about parking was spot on and it really wasn?t a problem. I also liked the fact that whilst 2 dogs were welcome, they were restricted to certain parts of the house. We were lucky to have great weather for most of the week so spent a lot of time in the evening in the courtyard. It was a sun trap at our peak of 14 people, we were glad to have asked guests to bring extra folding chairs. Whilst we didn?t use it, a spacious games room on the top floor would be great for groups of different ages. Would highly recommend this lovely house. It worked perfectly for us.

Stayed here for one night as our original bed and breakfast had booked our room out to someone else.

I stayed for 1 night recently at Pottergate Guest House. The Hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, bars / restaurants and popular walks. The accomodation was of a good standard, clean, tidy, well furnished bedroom with modern en suite. I think the walls had been recently painted which unfortunately gave off a strong smell of paint and caused a mild headache as a result, but I can look past this. The paint smell was just bad timing on my part, had I of had my family with me I would have had to request a change of room. The breakfast was very nice with various options on the menu, I went for the full English, and helped myself to some natural yoghurt and fruit. Cereals were also an option. Overall, a lovely cosy friendly little B&B conveniently situated in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Located near the center of Richmond, close to a bus stop (buses to Darlington, among others). Friendly reception. Located on a busy road, but well insulated. I stayed here for two days and got a spacious room with heating, coffee and tea making facilities, desk and TV. Private modern bathroom with excellent shower and towel rail (not en suite). Very spotty WiFi connection (depending on the number of users I assume). Excellent breakfast with yogurt and fresh fruit salad (grapefruit, strawberries, blueberries, grapes and banana) in a spacious and pleasant breakfast room. There is a new bottle of water in the room every day. Another plus is that you can have breakfast from 7 am if you wish. Possibility to order packed lunches and use the refrigerator.
