We were taken here so never researched the restaurant beforehand. The people who took us, ordered fish! These were the worst pizzas we have eaten. The salad on the plates was brown and slimy, the waiter was notified, but did nothing... We said at checkout that we had not enjoyed the meal and asked what the pizza base was made of, the reply was 'I'm the wrong person to ask' and did nothing further. We wished we had gone to get some pizzas from the supermarket, because this was the worst experience in an 'Italian' restaurant. Look elsewhere if you like food!!

Me and my partner are currently visiting Richmond and we were told to visit la piazza by our friends. We visited on Wednesday and it didn?t disappoint !!! I had the best gluten-free pizza I?ve ever had! Perfect crust, fresh toppings, and no dry taste!!!! The three girls working were so friendly and gave incredible service even though the restaurant was full and very busy. We can?t wait to come back! Thank you for a great night.

Food was SO good and portion sizes were great...even the kids portions were well sized. Food was cooked perfectly and from ordering, was on our table within 10 mins.

Visited on Monday night. Had an awesome dinner here! The food was super fresh and full of flavor ? you can really taste the quality in every bite. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being pushy, and the whole team just seemed really in sync. You can tell there?s solid management behind the scenes keeping things running smoothly. Great energy, great people, great pizzas ans pastas? definitely coming back!

The best Gluten and dairy free food I?ve had. So much to choose from and varied menu. Great knowledge from staff. We wish it was closer as we was just away on holiday and found it what a gem! Will visit again just for the pizza!!!

We were at La Piazza for our staff Christmas party here on Friday for 28 people. I had booked the function room so we could all be together but not feel so bad about being noisy around the other guests! The staff were really friendly, welcoming and accommodating; and we were booked straight in. We did take a pre-order earlier in the week to make it less hassle on the evening. The room was really lovely, plenty of space for everyone and really well laid out and decorated. All the food came out together, which compared to some other places we have been was great as we all got to eat at the same time! Portions are really generous and the price is more than fair. We had a wonderful evening and we weren?t rushed to leave for other bookings or made to feel like we were in the way. I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to have a large party to visit La Piazza, genuinely could not fault them. Thank you especially to Poppy but to all of the staff for a great night!

Stayed in Richmond for the week in September and this was by far the best meal of the week, both me and my wife agree on that. I had bruschetta to start, my wife had the potato skins, then I had Pollo Toscano and my wife had the Spicy Risotto and everything was fantastic really, a beautiful meal, nice wine and a lovely atmosphere (busy) brilliant service and very reasonable price.
Without a shadow of a doubt if we are ever in that area we would be back in a flash. 10 out of 10!

The service was excellent. We were early diners at 12 pm, so there was nobody else in at this time. Food we had pizza, which was nice, but just far too much garlic. So, I will make sure I ask for less garlic next time.
