Stayed with a group of friends while hiking. Comfortable rooms, great home cooked food and an excellent breakfast. Hosts went above and beyond for us even providing a lift to the station.

If you follow the gorgeous smell of home made cooking you will find this beautiful cafe/restaurant /bar/bnb. Perfect in every way the family are adorable i can not fault this place in anyway the food is the best each time we come also dog friendly wewill see you again very soon xx

It's on the Pennine Way trail. We've stayed at 9 different places along the way and so far this is our best. Relaxed atmosphere, reasonable price, generous portions for the meals and the owner served us. Chocolate on the pillow as well! The room was well lit and airy and clean. Everything modern.

What a hidden gem. Thwaite is a lovely wee quiet village. Keartons tearooms serve lovely teas and cakes.
The hotel room we stayed in was really nicely decorated and spacious.
The restaurant food was a real treat.
Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The new owners here are so friendly and accommodating . Delicious food , cozy rooms and a sweet sitting area for book reading and waiting out the rain. The location is breathtaking . Wow. The guide books don't all yet show this spot open as a hotel option. For walkers on their way east this is an obvious choice .

We had such a great time here! Adam and the team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Genuine hospitality at its best! The bar had a great selection of beers at good prices and the evening meal was absolutely delicious. Proper home-cooked food that really hit the spot after a day of walking.
The rooms were clean, comfy and nicely furnished, everything you?d want for a relaxing night. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, generous portions, great quality, and the perfect start to the day.
Keartons is a perfect stop for walkers, ideal for the Herriot way, Coast to Coast and Pennine way, you can even request a tasty packed lunch for your onward journey.
100% recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This little tea room alway delivers the lady that served me was a treat. I always call here when in the area. Very reasonable prices and fantastic seating area out front. Prawn sandwich coffee and a cake was delicious. Sure I?ll be back again. It?s spotless inside
