Costa are Costa and you get a good coffee but sometimes the staff let the experience down.
Called on a Saturday afternoon. It was quiet. A smile and a bit of conversation would have been pleasant. Felt like we were being a nuisance for actually asking to be served! Plus, there were 3 staff on, few customers, but noone clearing the mucky tables! ?????

Barista was an absolute disgrace. Spoke to me eventually after ignoring me for a good 5 mins.
I have customer service experience and this was absolutely atrocious. This girl should retrain or be shown the door.
It was 7.30am. I was the only customer standing there she totally lacked all customer skills and manners.
It's a good job the hot chocolate and cake made up for her attitude.

My favourite place to come, Hannah and her team are fantastic.The one thing that always stands out is that no matter how busy they are they always have smiles on their faces.I dont normally eat here however my daughter loves the sandwiches and treats and she is very fussy!Amazing team and amazing coffee, what more could I ask for!

I have bad anxiety and don?t normally go in coffee shops so thought I?d treat myself to a hot chocolate. The lady who served me wasn?t pleasant or friendly, didn?t ask if I wanted regular or large, didn?t ask if I wanted cream. There wasn?t much of a queue so didn?t need to rush. The man put my hot chocolate down. I left feeling really miserable and that?s probably last time I go in there.

My favourite barristas. Today was extremely busy but the service was still exemplary despite the challenges they faced (broken dishwasher). I would highly recommend a visit to the delightful staff in this store. I'm a regular customer and always have a positive experience here.

Nice to receive a free cake birthday treat. Selection of cake was one. Not a large slice glad I was not paying for it as not worth £3.50. Service was poor as assistant was not attentive as to me at the counter. No one in the cafe at the time

Rather full due to the weather it was a reasonable Costa experience but I have to question why it takes so long to put hot water in two teapots. My Raspberry and Almond Bake was edible but a bit on the dry side. Had hoped upstairs might be open as that would have provided an excellent view of the square.

Got a takeaway Cappuccino from here, it was the worst cup of coffee I've ever had 0/10.I was too far away to be bothered to go back and complain once I'd started my drink. It was watery and the coffee was so bitter it was undrinkable. They also put so much chocolate sprinkles on top it was like a crust.
