Absolutely wonderful customer care, fantastic food and lovely friendly people, staff/regulars/visitors. The Landlord definitely goes above and beyond, mentioned that I liked Jaffa Cake Gin and it was kindly ordered plus offered us a lift home when it was raining. When we return for another stay we will be back. Thank you for making our stay locally memorable x

We just spent two nights staying in this delightful country pub . The food is fabulous with lots of choice and able to cater for my gluten intolerant needs too . The owners Steve and Nicola are perfect hosts and along with their great staff run a friendly and efficient place where visitors are made really welcome by everyone . would thoroughly recommend .

What a fabulous place. A really lovely cosy pub, in a beautiful location. And ALL the staff are absolutely fantastic, especially Dave ( who is really called Steve) the landlord ;) and his wife Nicola, and Dave's sister Nikki, she is just FAB.. Such a great laugh, so friendly and such great fun. The rooms are really lovely and the beds so soft and comfortable. The food is out of this world. In 36yrs of going away with my hubby, this is the first and only time I haven't wanted to come home, and I can't wait to go back again. And on top of everything else. Dave (aka Steve) let me kiss his sausage, whom he calls Cooper. The best time EVER. Cannot rate this place or the staff high enough. Thank you ALL for a wonderful time. See you all again :D

A lovely day in the quarry. We had a lovely treat afterwards and we had a lunch that hit the spot . And they accommodate our needs . Lunch was awesome ??

Stayed in Deluxe King Room. It was right above the bar so you could near everything downstairs. This was not a problem as the bar shut at 10:30pm. Evening meal in the restaurant very good. Breakfast took a while to arrive, but that was because it was freshly cooked & lovely.

Food & drinks: It is a small old world village pub with great meals & a great breakfast. Good choice of beers
Noteworthy details: Highly recommend & would stay again.
