We stayed at the Buck on a bed and breakfast basis. I couldn't praise it highly enough, we were welcomed and looked after from start to finish. The room was clean and well appointed and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a Yorkshire classic. Reeth itself is always a treat, great walks for all levels of stamina and the Dales bike centre is nearby if you wanted to go for peddle.

Serves food on a Sunday afternoon evening which is very unusual in upper swaledale where the local custom appears to be to fast they also serve food on a Monday. If you aren't into fasting come here for a great value meal.

Sat outside in the sun with lovely views of the village.
Food was piping hot and delicious. U ordered fish and chips and the cod was enormous. The chips were really well fried and crispy and well seasoned.
My wife?s pulled pork loaded nachos were really tasty too.
Overall very pleased and prices were reasonable too.

This is a very friendly and welcoming pub. The staff immediately greeted us and guided us through the pub, the menu, and the process for ordering. A great place to relax and enjoy a pint!

Can?t say enough good things about the hospitality here! Took great care of me when I stopped here on the coast to coast - the owner and all the staff go above and beyond to help out all the C2C walkers with any issues they?re having and make you feel at home. Beautiful rooms and views, great beers, comfy beds, overall brilliant place! Definitely stop by here if you can!

This lovely pub situated in the middle of Reeth. Was our walking group drink lunch stop. Arrival dogs are welcome. We were directed to a side room for larger tables. Service was good and everyone enjoyed there Sunday lunch. As a trusted Google reviewer. I highly recommend this for a trusted good pub.

Homemade pies excellent and option of Steak or Chicken, bacon and leek, fish (huge) and chips, excellent value, beer choice great and service good. Worth another visit ?
