Supported this pub quite regularly, then one say I bought a voucher for my friend £40.They dated it for 3 months , when they went to use it 2 months later they were told they didn't do food anymore and suggested they use it on one of their special food nights. A nice locals pub that was welcoming even for strangers. Good selection of drinks. Reasonably priced. Dog friendly in bar area. Didn't eat there but the food smelt and looked really good.

We spent five days on the campsite, great location for walks and able to get the steam train to various locations. Spotlessly clean,dog friendly. Nina the landlady was so kind and friendly really appreciated her support. Wish the family every success in the future, we hope to return. K2
