We just had a meal here and drinks and it was amazing. Right from calling to book a table the staff and service and food was outstanding. Staff couldn't do enough for you, attentive, clear and concise and built a rapport with myself and family. Highly recommend the Lamb!! Just wow.

Went for an evening meal in the ?doggie? restaurant. Yes, in addition to the main restaurant, there is a further restaurant for customers wanting to bring their dogs. Food was good and service excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Used this place twice on our holiday; Sunday lunch & weekday menus both catered for our veggie requirements. Service was excellent, friendly & helpful Worth a visit if you?re in the area.

Stop off here for an evening meal on the way back to my hotel, I was not disappointed. The food was top-notch, and the main meal of lamb steak was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend eating here if I was within your budget

Lovely pub on the high street. Only popped in for drinks on Fathers Day whilst visiting Pickering but nice selection of ales, good service and comfortable lounge area.

Stayed at the White swan only for one night, (wish it could have been longer) room was very comfortable fresh linen and dressing gown provided.witty house rules made us chuckle anyway, complimentary water in the room in a mini fridge stuff behind the bar. Very helpful breakfast. So much choice. Very nice. Will go back again

We just had a Sunday dinner, which was superb. It's definitely one of the best roast dinners I've had in a long time. I had the roast chicken with stuffing, and my friend had the roast beef, both cooked to perfection. Plentiful vegetables with my favourite cauliflower cheese included. Service was outstanding and lovely surroundings and atmosphere. Thank you, we will be back.

Lovely setting. Nice enough meal but nothing exceptional bland presentation and lacking a bit of flavour. Offered a dessert menu, 20 minutes later had to ask for one, another 15 minutes and still no one took our order. We were at a table that all 5 servers had to walk past. Finally a man asked if we wanted anything we said just run out of enthusiasm as we had waited and to be honest totally ignored. Oh sorry about that was sum total of his response, no I'll look into that/thanks for letting me know etc... there was several tables but not enough to be considered Busy at that point. Shame
