So welcoming to find a pub selling well kept cask ale open early doors mid week. A classic, traditional interior, just the one cask ale on sale and a wonderful, friendly landlady holding it all together.

I used to spend a lot of time here few years ago , it?s still a lovely small pub with Karaoke at weekends plus jukebox and also pool table. Taxi rank just opposite. Food available,I haven?t tried but sure it be as good as the beers!

This was a superb pub for drinking, with a vintage design maintained! This is channelled through the lined ceilings and fireplace area, as well as the deer horns. The counter is neatly presented, seating is lovely and I had a cheap pint of Carling!

The pub is ok needs updating. Prices for drinks expensive. Service poor. Staff are always smoking. Food good value but no ingredients mentioned for allergies. No room to swing a cat... stayed for karaoke. But they only pick who they think can sing, well thats not karaoke to me
