Not what it portrays itself to be. This is not a real ale bar at all. The taps include Fosters, Guinness, and John Smiths. The half of Theakstons I had tasted like vinegar. It gets 3 stars for the pub itself being alright, but the overall experience was very disappointing.

Our 1st visit here with friends who live locally, great choice of drinks and a good atmosphere with the owner Jimmy making us feel comfortable, not forgetting the 80's music ?. Will drop by when in the area again.

Great little bar, tooked away of the main street, well worth a visit, upstairs is more seating, and a good pool table with plenty of space. Recommended.

Called in to this little gem with 2 friends for the first time yesterday. Excellent pints of Copper Dragon and Antidote. It?s fair to say we?ll be back soon.
