?BEWARE?. I have parked at Tesco for many years and having a disability I take alot longer to shop as I need to take rests. I did not know that Horizon now viciously man this car park and issues £70 fines. I believed that Blue Badge holders were exempt from the time limit rules. BEWARE

It was something that I really needed and the time was 22.30 on wet Wednesday
The very helpful member of staff was working stocking shelves in the washing soap area he is tall about 40 yr old did not catch his name

Haven?t been in a big Tesco since 2008! Went in the northallerton one today. I was impressed! Good staff, ok prices. Looked well run. Happy days!

Just visiting the town for the day so can?t comment on everything, but my first impression was that it was a good size with plenty of fresh produce, the usual range of dried and tinned produce etc
Two things which surprised me: First of all -A Costa coffee rather than own cafe!
Secondly, there were no gluten free options available in the meal deal section????
I did find the assistants pleasant and helpful.
The young lady who served me at the checkout was particularly good; she spoke to every customer, asked how they were etc and had very good interpersonal skills.

Colby at Tesco in Northallerton- what an absolute legend. I was in a real dilemma this afternoon because I was about to get a parking fine (hopefully I got out on time) - and he was so helpful in trying to help me!! Fingers crossed for me and thanks to Colby!!

Tried using scan as you go for the second time,as we are going to checkouts we scan the barcode and it comes up with scan 10 items so we call over a colleague to help and two of them just stood there chatting whilst the other came over once he had finished with another customer.when he scans his colleague card he proceeds to go through our shopping bags and drag things out scan them then throw them back in whichever bag he wanted not happy made a mess with things falling out of bags would have been easier to just pack myself and not bother with scan as you go.

Very disappointed. Scan and shop pointless as we had to queue with everybody else at the self service tills. If you can?t have a dedicated till for this it is pointless.

The store was clean and tidy. I'm not a fan of the layout in this store. Coffee shop, toilets, timpsons, clothing all on site. Staff all friendly.
