Poor customer service, I have been a customer at this branch for a few years, but sadly will not be using them anymore, I needed some replacement contact lenses while on holiday in Spain, as I needed them to drive back to the UK, I phoned the branch only to be diverted to Thirsk, I explained my situation only be to be told they can't give me my prescription over the phone, thankfully the optician in Spain gave my eyes a test and supplied me with the correct contacts and may I add all free of charge, now that was customer service done the right way

I went for some safety glasses. Due to my prescription, it was hard to get sufficient options, which was all explained nicely. Ordered glasses, then made an appointment to collect i changed the appointment to a day later via a telephone call. Then, I received an email confirming my appointment with usual txt reminders, etc. Arrived to collect my glasses to find they were not even made or on site. With a wasted journey specifically for my glasses, I then recall a very annoying phone call telling me they can only estimate my glasses' arrival. So, I told staff not to call me wasting more of my time until glasses were on site. It was almost 4 weeks later, and they finally called to say they arrived. A few days later, I just out of curiosity asked my wife to call to check they definitely onsite, and they couldn't confirm they were there. This went on for a total of 6 weeks, which I can assure you I won't be returning.

The manager at your Stockton shop was very rude and put the phone down on me whilst I was trying to explain a problem with her store, I will leave Specsavrer because of her please take me off your patient list

I cannot praise them highly enough. My GP referred me, the eye test was booked for the following morning and the service I received was outstanding. Many thanks indeed.

First visit, but they've got a repeat customer!
I always stuck with our 'local' optician, but when he retired, I thought I would give Specsavers a try.
From my initial booking to final fitting, I could not have asked for a more professional group of people who worked hard and gave me all the help I needed.
Special mention for Hayley J, who also provided a follow up service making sure all my frames fitted perfectly.
If you are in the Northallerton area, this branch of Specsavers should be your choice.
Thoroughly recommmended.
