What an absolute pleasure it's been in store today, William went above and beyond in my opinion to help me open an account.
I only called in on the off chance as 2 previous banks/building societies just referred us to opening online, not everyone is comfortable in doing that.
Not only did William do everything for me santander had a considerably better rate of interest. Will certainly use santander northallerton as a first call in the future.

Santander website shows open on Saturday but they have a note on the door saying they are closed on Saturday until further notice.

Drove to Northallerton branch as website said it opened at 9.30 sat 12th Aug - got there about 10am..SHUT.

Hands down the worst and most unprofessional experience I've had in a bank.I went in with a certain task in mind, they set up an account. I came back because I was unclear as to how I was meant to continue as I didn't see how that had solved my issue and the staff memember, through zero provocstion raised her voice, shouting at me to say they would never do that.I'm actually disgusted of the behaviour of this branch.Thankfully I had the option of going to the Darlington branch, who were fantastic. So save your sanity and nerves and go literally anywhere else.

A few months ago I put an important letter with a cheque in itt hrough their front door letterbox by hand (as passing through Northallerton at night - it was a Wednesday).
It wasn't found in the box until Saturday when I 'phoned to check if there three days later!
Not everyone delivers in cyberspace: I might have to.
