Incredible….as a vegetarian, I felt very spoilt for choice and had just to order all of the veggie options. So glad we did!I’ve been to many AA rosette restaurants and Michelin starred restaurants (in London mainly), and this is hands down one of the best places I have ever eaten.The the cocktails were amazing too....

Origin is an exciting small plates restaurant and bar located on Friarage street in Northallerton.
At Origin our ethos is simple; we source the highest quality ingredients, as locally as possible, and expertly cook it over coal.
The menu is designed to encourage our small plates to be shared amongst the table.
Our menus take global inspiration, we favour vegetables as much as meat or fish and pride ourselves on borrowing flavours and techniques from multiple regions.
