Richard conducted a rolling road test on my car. This has resulted in a real step change to it's performance. He provides great advice on other areas that need improving. Highly recommend Motoscope.

My 1975 Scimitar SE5a was poor starting when cold and impossible when hot. Various people had tried to fix the issue, and I was worried it may have been fuel evaporation due to excessive under bonnet heat. I drove about 60 miles to get to Motoscope, being careful not to stop/stall the engine. Richard put it on his rolling road, tuned and changed the jets on the carb, etc. He was very friendly, and explained exactly what he was doing. My car is totally cured, and it starts fist time every time, even when hot. I highly recommend Motoscope.

Brought my Westfield all the way from Carlisle to Motoscope in Northallerton last Friday as it wasn't running right. Richard did a cracking job tuning the carbs etc and explaining what and why he was doing things. Cost was as quoted even though he did a little more work than expected.
The drive home was honestly like driving a different car. More performance and now an absolute pleasure to drive. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough. Amazing service from proper, experienced mechanics ??

I'm not kidding here.
I took my. 1989 Panther Kallista 2.9i V6 (Ford Granada, Essex engine) here, which came out of the showroom with 140bhp, and 35 years later, left Motorscope with 146bhp. The guy is a magician! Total respect for his technical knowledge, professionalism and being an all around good human being...
I'm now driving a totally different car than went in 2 hours ago. Just WOW!

Richard did an excellent job of my classic ford, explained what he was doing ,even been 35 years as a mechanicIt's never run as good and power in 5 years. its the best it's ever been .Would highly recommend.
