Probably the worst customer service I've ever come across. Normally staff in CEX are the most helpful and super-knowledgeable people around, but this guy in your store was completely awful. I went in to ask about a game for my nephew and was met with complete arrogance, shaded with detest. If you don't want to be in there dealing with people, don't work there. It's totally put me off from going to CEX again.

I bought a controller and when l got home the controller was broken so I tuck it back and the staff where very rude and would not take the controller back

Great shop like all the CEX shops. Good range of electrical equipment like graphics cards, consoles and accessories. Great dvd selection and console games.

I used to love using CEX. This time, however, it was awful. The staff have such an air of superiority, one of them even refused to look at me while telling me something, which ended up being wrong anyway. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you don't like being treated well.

Went into the Northallerton branch of CEX yesterday and was served by a Scottish bloke who went out of his way to be helpful, patient and extremely professional. Returned a game today that wasn't working, he apologised and put it through their disc cleaner, it now works. He was again really helpful and kind. Only down side was my son got upset because he said the other assistant was rude and impatient.

Took back a faulty controller that was faulty as soon as we got home. Refused to give me a full refund even though I said I had bought a new elite controller for my daughter and didn't want or need the controller just my money back ..insisted on sending it off to repair it ..stupid policy !!! You should be entitled to a refund if you have a receipt no matter what .won't be buying from here again
